About

Michelle is a comic and actress living in Los Angeles. Her stories can be heard on the Moth Story Hour as well as published alongside her comedic hero, Tig Notaro, in the New York Times Bestseller “How To Tell A Story.” She first began acting when she was cast to play Jesus in the 7th grade Mime production of the Stations of the Cross (you read that right) a peak she surely reached too early. In her standup career, she’s shared a stage with Saturday Night Live’s Alex Moffat and has opened for Fat Tony, Josiah Johnson of The Head and the Heart, and all the folksy musicians passing through the Bay. While you can catch her performing standup comedy at clubs throughout Los Angeles, Denver, and San Francisco, her favorite venues to perform at are her friend’s barn in Lagunitas (DM for the address) and out by the trash fence at Burning Man.
